Setting Content Calendar Schedule & Timeline

Selecting your active dates, custom posting windows, and local time zones.

Updated today

In this article, we will guide you through the first step of the Content Calendar wizard. You will learn how to manage your publishing range (Dates & Time) for audience engagement, and ensure your system's clock perfectly matches your local market.

Reviewing Events and Selecting Active Dates

Before you dive into the scheduling wizard, the system provides a comprehensive monthly calendar view displaying all upcoming holidays and special events. We highly recommend reviewing the current and following month first to identify which dates are most important to your brand. When you enter the selection stage, you can schedule content for up to 60 days in advance.

IMPORTANT: Keep in mind that the system ONLY posts on the specific days you SELECT; therefore, if a holiday or special occasion is coming up and you want it covered, you must ensure that you have selected that specific date in the wizard's mini-calendar.

Defining Your Posting Time Window

Once your Dates are set, you have control over What Time your content goes live during the day. You can set a specific "Time Window" by choosing a start and end time. For instance, if you want to reach your audience over breakfast, you might set your window from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Alternatively, if you prefer a more natural flow, you can set a wider range—such as 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM—and the system will randomly schedule your posts within those hours to keep your feed feeling organic.

You can customize your weekly calendar for maximum impact by running the workflow multiple times. For example, if you want to share an Inspirational Quote as a Story in the morning and another Relevant Content at noon, you should run the Content Calendar workflow twice.

The first time, you would select your dates and set the time window to 7-8am, and for the second run, you would select the same dates but specify another time window like 2-4pm instead.

💡TIPS: Each time you run the calendar, it allows you to choose new Days and Time windows, you have full control over how your content is arranged throughout the week. You can run the wizard multiple times to schedule your content at different times and on different days, choosing different sizes and layouts (such as Posts or Stories) exactly as you wish.

Time Zone Synchronization

To ensure your posts hit the feed at the right moment for your local market, always double-check your Time Zone settings. While the default might be set to Eastern Time (Toronto), you can easily adjust this within the settings to match your specific city or country.
