Managing & Editing Scheduled Content

Learn how to modify scheduled content and manage live calendar changes

Updated today

After you submit your plan in Step 5, the system begins generating your assets. Once they are ready, they will appear in your calendar. This article explains how to manage, edit, and fine-tune those posts to ensure everything is perfect before it goes live.

Navigating to Your Schedule

To see your newly generated posts, navigate to the Content Calendar section of your dashboard. For a cleaner view, click on the "Scheduled" tab. Here, you will see a list of all upcoming posts, including the specific date, time, and the social media platform each one is assigned to.

IMPORTANT: If you push a single content concept to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and it lands in your calendar on all three, the system treats them as three independent assets. You'll need to go through and edit each one separately if you want changes for each platform.

Managing the Schedule & Status

By clicking the "Scheduled" status button next to each social media icon on any post, a management window will open containing two distinct sections:

1. Schedule & Publishing Parameters

This section allows you to manage exactly when and how your post goes live. You have three primary actions available:

  • Reschedule: Change the specific date or time the post is set to go live.

  • Post Now: Skip the wait and publish the content immediately.

  • Move to Draft: Remove the post from the active schedule and save it as a draft for later use.

2. Template Editor

This is where you can modify the actual visual and written content of your post:

  • Edit Template: By clicking this button, you can swap images, update your branding (logo, colors, headshot), or adjust the graphics.

  • Caption Refinement: Once your template changes are saved, you will proceed to the caption screen to fine-tune your text and hashtags to ensure they match your voice.

  • Final Review & Platform Preview: After clicking "Next," the system provides a final preview. You will see the specific platform and layout for this post. Note that this is a read-only preview to confirm your changes.

  • Final Update: Even after editing the template and caption, you still have the option to modify the scheduled date and time here. Click "Update" to trigger the calendar picker one last time. You can confirm the current time or make a final scheduling adjustment. Click "Schedule" to save everything and return to your calendar.
