Connecting your Instagram account to the Hub

Connect your Instagram account to share your Listing assets and other curated content instantly.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

as a Premium Plus Member, you can connect your Social Media Accounts to the Hub directly, and by doing this, when you generate any type of asset—such as a new listing promotion or daily real estate social media tips—you will be able to post them instantly to your connected channels. There is no need to download and upload graphics manually; furthermore, our AI engine will generate professional captions and hashtags for you, helping you save both time and money.

Hub provides assistance for Instagram professional profiles, encompassing both "Business" and "Creator" profiles. While the connection process typically takes just a few minutes, encountering unexpected hurdles isn't unheard of, hence we advise adhering closely to these outlined steps.

Key Considerations for Connecting Instagram

Before connecting, please make sure your Instagram profile is set to a Professional account. If it's a personal account, you'll need to go into your Instagram settings and switch to a Business or Creator profile first

For automated publishing of Instagram Stories, your account must be configured only as an Instagram Business account.

To link an Instagram account to your Hub, you must authenticate the connection using a personal Facebook profile that has administrative privileges for the Instagram account you wish to add. If adjustments are needed, consult Facebook's guide on role management.

Only one Instagram account can be connected at a time, if you have already connected another account, you must disconnect your current Instagram account first before you can link a different one.

Steps to Connect Your Instagram Account

Before beginning, we highly recommend logging into the personal Facebook profile that has the required admin rights in another browser tab on the same device you are using to connect your Hub account. Once connected, you can access your channels from your PC, laptop, or mobile phone.

  • Click your Name/Avatar

  • Navigate to Account Settings from the menu

  • Click on Channels from the sub-menu

  • All available channels for connection will be displayed here.

  • Click Connect next to the Instagram icon.

  • We recommend logging into your Facebook account before proceeding with the channel connection setup; however, if you haven't already done so, the system may redirect you to the Facebook login page.

  • When the window below appears, ensure you are logged into the correct Facebook account, then click the "Authenticate with Facebook" button.

  • You may be redirected to Facebook to authorize the connection. If you are logged in but not to the correct account, you may need to sign out and switch to the profile you wish to link.

  • Make sure to log in with the Facebook profile associated with your Instagram account and ensure you have Admin permissions for the linked Facebook Page.

  • In this step, the system will recognize your Facebook profile (the one you are currently logged into). Click the Connect or Reconnect button at the bottom of the window.

  • If you are the admin of multiple pages, the system may return an error message stating you have "insufficient permissions" to connect the channel. In this case, go back and click "Edit previous settings" to review your available Facebook Business Pages. Ensure the correct page is selected, then press "Next" to continue.

  • Removing access for any specific Pages will stop REable Hub from locating the Pages you manage. Note: You will skip this permission step if you have previously linked another Instagram profile to REable Hub using the same personal account.

  • You have the options to select "Opt in to all current and future Pages, or "Opt in current Pages only" , simply select the page you wish to connect and click Continue to proceed.

  • After following these steps, you should see this final message, confirming that your Facebook or Instagram page has been successfully connected.

  • On the final channel selection screen, pick the specific Instagram Account you wish to link and click Add Channel. You are all set!

Note: Even though the connection requires authentication through your personal Facebook profile, REable Hub will never access your private information or publish content to your personal feed.
