Get Started with Engagements
Engagements helps real estate agents stay connected with clients using AI-powered phone calls, SMS, and email.
This guide will walk you through the basics—from setting up your account to sending your first campaign and reviewing the results.
You don't need to learn the entire platform to get started. In about 45–60 minutes, you can complete your setup and launch your first campaign.
Your Day-One Checklist
Follow these steps to get started:
Sign in and complete your account setup.
Set your working hours and caller ID.
Run a test call.
Prepare a small contact list of 10–25 people.
Upload and send your first campaign through Engagement Hub.
Review your results in Dashboard and Analysis.
Personally follow up with anyone who responds.
Before You Start
You'll need:
Your Engagements login
Your mobile number
A second phone number for the test call
10–25 contacts you're legally allowed to contact
Excel, Google Sheets, or another spreadsheet app
If you plan to use AI appointment booking later, you'll also need to connect your Google or Outlook calendar.
What Is Engagements?
Engagements helps you stay connected with your clients at scale.
An AI assistant can reach your contacts by:
Phone
SMS
Email
You provide the instructions, and Engagements handles the outreach according to your settings and availability.
Where to Find Things
Area | What You Can Do |
Engagements Admin | Manage your settings, upload contacts, run campaigns, and review results |
Engagements CRM | Manage clients, deals, notes, and outreach history |
Engagement Hub | Run bulk campaigns and view Dashboard and Analysis |
The mobile app is also available for agents who want to manage replies and notifications while they're on the go.
Step 1 — Complete Your Account Setup
Sign In
Sign in to your Engagements Admin.
Use your agent email and password.
Follow the setup wizard, or open Account Settings if the wizard doesn't appear.
You can skip the setup and return later, but make sure your working hours and caller ID are configured before running a live campaign.
Set Your Working Hours
Go to:
Account Settings → Working Hours
Set your available hours for:
Phone calls
SMS and messaging
Save your settings before continuing.
Your working hours determine when Engagements can contact your clients.
Verify Your Caller ID
Go to:
Account Settings → Phone
Enter your mobile number and complete the verification call.
Once verified, this number will be shown to clients when Engagements calls or texts on your behalf.
Connect Your Calendar
You can skip this step for your first campaign.
When you're ready to use Engagements for appointment booking, connect your Google or Outlook calendar from:
Account Settings → Calendar
Run a Test Call
Use a second phone number for your test call.
Enter the second number.
Use the default test message or create your own.
Start the test call.
Answer the call and make sure the message is clear.
Once the test is complete, finish your setup.
You should now be ready to use Engagement Hub.
Step 2 — Manage Your Availability
You can switch between Available and Away when needed.
Go to:
Account Settings → Calendar → Call Availability
Use Away when, for example, you're in a showing and don't want live calls routed to you.
Your SMS and email campaigns will continue to run.
Step 3 — Prepare Your Contact List
Start small. For your first campaign, use 10–25 contacts.
Good contacts may include:
Past buyers or sellers
People in your sphere who expect to hear from you
Contacts your brokerage allows you to message
Avoid uploading your entire database for your first campaign.
Prepare Your Spreadsheet
For SMS, your file should include:
phone_number,name,instruction,call_type,channel
For email:
name,email,instruction,call_type,channel,email_subject
You can also use the Download Sample CSV Template option in Engagement Hub → Bulk Call.
Write Your Instructions
Keep your instructions short, friendly, and specific.
For example:
Send a friendly market update for their area. Mention that you're their agent and invite them to reply if they're thinking about buying or selling.
The instruction tells the AI what to communicate to each contact.
File Requirements
Before uploading your file, make sure:
Phone numbers use the correct international format.
The column headers haven't been renamed.
You have one contact per row.
Every row includes an instruction.
SMS rows include a phone number.
Email rows include an email address.
Your file is saved as
.csv,.xlsx, or.xls.
Step 4 — Upload and Run Your First Campaign
Go to:
Engagement Hub → Bulk Call
Upload Your File
Click Upload or drag your file into the upload area.
Wait for the file to be validated.
Fix any errors that appear.
Review the contact information and communication channel.
Start Your Campaign
Once everything looks correct:
Confirm your settings.
Click Start.
Monitor your campaign from the Engagement Hub Dashboard.
Outreach typically runs at approximately 5 contacts per minute.
If outbound email hasn't been configured for your account, start with an SMS campaign instead.
Step 5 — Review Your Results
Check your results later the same day or the next morning.
Dashboard
Go to:
Engagement Hub → Dashboard
Here you can monitor your campaign activity.
Analysis
Go to:
Engagement Hub → Analysis
Review:
Who was contacted
Delivery and completion results
Replies and responses
Campaign outcomes
Follow Up Personally
If a client responds or shows interest:
Follow up personally within 24 hours.
Record the conversation in your CRM.
Continue the conversation yourself.
The AI handles the initial outreach—the personal follow-up is where you build the relationship.
What to Try Next
Once you're comfortable with your first campaign, you can explore different types of outreach.
Goal | Campaign Type | Channel |
Market update or check-in | Informational | SMS or Email |
Confirm a showing | Confirmational | Phone or SMS |
Book a listing consultation | Appointment Booking | Phone or SMS |
Re-engage a warm lead | Conversational | Phone or SMS |
Appointment booking requires your calendar to be connected.
Mobile App
The mobile app is optional and isn't required for your first campaign.
It's useful when you're on the go and want to:
See notifications
Respond to SMS
Check your activity
Switch between Available and Away
Manage client interactions
